Commentary
Cotton Sticking Near Unchanged at Midday -
Cotton futures are trading with steady to 4 point lower action across most nearby contracts at midday. The outside markets are mixed factors, as the Soybeans Showing Weakness on Friday -Soybean futures are trading with 2 to 3 cent losses across most contracts on Friday. There were 125 deliveries issued against September beans Hogs Continue Gains into Friday -Lean hog futures are showing continued strength on Friday, with contracts up 87 cents to $1.10. USDA’s national base hog report from Friday AM Wheat Higher at Midday -The wheat complex is showing some slight gains to round out the week. CBT soft red wheat futures is 3 to 4 cents in the green at midday. The CBOT Corn Holding Gains to Round Out the Week -Corn futures are maintaining the strength above the $4.20 level on the December contract at Friday’s midday, with front months up 2 to 3 ½ cents. Cattle Extending Pull Back on Friday -Live cattle futures are continuing weakness on Friday with midday losses of $1.27 to $1.37 in the front months.
