SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week feeder steers 
and feeder bulls unevenly steady, feeder heifers steady. Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 160.00-177.00; 500-550 lbs 150.00-160.00.  
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 150.00-177.00; 500-600 lbs 
140.00-158.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 132.00-
150.00, 500-600 lbs 125.00-140.00.  Slaughter cows were unevenly steady. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 60.00-75.00; Boners 80-85% lean 60.00-
82.00; Lean 85-90% lean 55.00-67.00; Lean low dressing 35.00-54.00. Slaughter 
bulls were 2.00 higher.  Slaughter bulls:  1080-2045 lbs 80.00-96.00. 
    Goats: [352]  Week Ago: 164.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 Under 20 lbs 42.50-60.00, 20-40 lbs 40.00-
95.00, 40-60 lbs 100.00-125.00, 60-80 lbs 125.00-165.00; Sel 2 N/A.  
Wethers: Slaughter 1 and 2 80-100 lbs 95.00-110.00, 100-150 lbs 170.00-
210.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 lbs 80.00-160.00 and few 170.00-220.00 
Fancy, 70-100 lbs 120.00-175.00, 100-140 lbs 180.00-210.00; Sel 2 70-100 
lbs 50.00-105.00, 70-100 lbs 87.50-120.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 
lbs 130.00-160.00, 100-150 lbs 165.00-215.00, 150-250 lbs 230.00-250.00;

   SC Grain on Friday.  New crop corn was mostly 3 cents higher, one location
12 higher; elevator bids 3.96-4.13, processor bids 4.03-4.53.  Soybeans 
were 10 to 11 cents higher; elevator bids 8.34-8.79, processor bid 9.09, 
export bid 9.19.  New Crop wheat was mostly 8 to 9 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.48-4.78.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.20 higher 
at 72.25.
